(3) ♂ Wheatears were grounded, including the first ♂ 'Greenland' Wheatear on the patch this spring.

Noticeable brown/grey wash to the upperparts/mantle, a deeper rusty buff-cinnamon throat, breast, flanks and belly extending to the vent. All good pro-leucorhoa features!

Nice one Craig. I think that around 20-30% of the Wheatears that I have had over the past few days have been Greenlands too.

Havent put them out as such becaus some smart alec will probably visit the patch and say otherwise
