Lutley Wedge 07/03/11 12.20pm (8°c) Sunny, clear skies. Light E/SE Breeze

Two patch 'year ticks' today. A single Meadow Pipit was in a field near Wassell Grove (first sighting since late November last year) and a superb ♂ Peregrine. The Peregrine was first picked up some distance away soaring over the Top Footpath, before circling high over Wassell Grove Pools on a thermal with (4) Common Buzzards and a Sparrowhawk!
Also seen:-
(2) ♂♀ Teal (still present at Wassell Grove Pools)
(4) Siskin (2➝North)
(1) Skylark
