Spotted Flycatcher (1st-winter) Wassell Grove Pools 9/9/10
A quieter day migration wise. 1 Tree Pipit flew over at 08.40am and a trickle of Meadow Pipits in small numbers flew over through the morning and early afternoon. The highlight was a Spotted Flycatcher in the hedgerow at Wassell Grove Pools (only the 2nd 'Spot Fly' this autumn), and 60 House Martins were seen 'sunning' on the roof tiles of Grange Farm.
