Lapland Bunting (1st-winter) Frampton Marsh, Lincs 19/09/10
An 'off patch' visit to Frampton marsh RSPB reserve on the Lincolnshire side of The Wash today, where i found this stunning Lapland Bunting on the Saltmarsh near the viewpoint. I first picked out the 'Lap Bunt' on flight call as it flew in with two Meadow Pipits from the Northeast at 11.55am, before 'dropping out' onto the Saltmarsh.
