Moulting, with an obvious gap in the wings due to missing outer primaries probably (P7) and also the longest two outer tail feathers (T6) were being replaced and growing in.
The ♂ Garden Warbler looked to have already started it's partial post breeding moult of body feathers, with it's fairly scruffy/worn appearance and one loose undertail covert visible
